Housekeeper
Job description
- Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting and polishing.
- Ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to standards.
- Protect equipment and make sure there are no inadequacies.
- Notify superiors on any damages, deficits and disturbances.
- Deal with reasonable complaints/requests with professionalism and patience.
- Check stocking levels of all consumables and replace when appropriate.
- Adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any company-related practices.
Housekeeping AIDE
Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning tasks on a predetermined schedule.
- Sweep and mop floors, placing caution signs as needed.
- Wipe down and sanitize door handles and other surfaces that are commonly used.
- Assist with bathroom cleaning and sanitation.
- Empty trash bins.
- Change bed linens.
- Report any maintenance or repair issues.
Requirements and Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED certificate (is a plus).
- Some housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred.
- Familiarity with common cleaning products and equipment.
- Ability to read and understand instructions in English (bilingual is a plus).
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks.
Housekeeping Supervisor
Responsibilities
- Train housekeepers on cleaning and maintenance tasks.
- Oversee staff on a daily basis.
- Check rooms and common areas, including stairways and lounge areas for cleanliness.
- Schedule shifts and arrange for replacements in cases of absence.
- Establish and educate staff on cleanliness, tidiness and hygiene standards.
- Motivate team members and resolve any issues that occur on the job.
- Respond to customer complaints and special requests.
- Monitor and replenish cleaning products stock including floor cleaner, bleach and rubber gloves.
- Participate in large cleaning projects as required.
- Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation policies in all areas
Banquet Server
Responsibilities
- Serves patrons with food and beverages in a positive and friendly manner.
- Provides information to help food and beverage selections.
- Presents ordered choices in a prompt and efficient manner.
- Maintains dining ambiance with an enthusiastic attitude.
- Prepares room for dining by clothing tables, setting decorations, condiments, candles, napkins, service plates, and utensils.
- Keeps kitchen staff informed by noting timing of meal progression.
- Maintains table setting by removing used plates completed, replenishing utensils, refilling water glasses, and being alert to patron spills or other special needs
